Relic

1. Usually a device or object, but generally anything left over from the Before Time. Relic tools and weapons are frequently trash, robbed by time and damage of their original functions, but operable relics are powerful and amazing. Relic structures, where they still stand, are fabulous spaces made with unimaginable materials and methods. Many relic sites are dangerous ruins, worked by pickers.
2. Any being or race left untouched by Kingdom Come and the Prometheus Virus. Pure humans are an example of "living relics". (This useage is common to the New Races and Prometheans, to relegate their predecessors to a lesser, "failed" status.)
