Enthrallment
  1. To enslave another by dominating or destroying his will.
  2. The process of destroying a being's will by infection with a particular strain of change plague, as practiced by the Silence Lodge of the Iron Brotherhood.

"Silence" thralls can range from the merely slow to the imbecilic, although rumor has it that the Silencers use a special form of enthrallment to produce soldiers who can still fight with speed and ferocity but no fear of death. The masked beings of the Director's Nightfall Guard are said to be "berserker thralls" of this sort.

Some species of mutant use neurotoxins to enthrall their victims, though these poisons as often kill as enslave, and are usually only effective for short periods of time. (IE, Long enough for the toxic mutants to score a meal.)
