Breed

A species that is essentially identical to its forbearers, which will generally breed true. An individual member of a breed will generally resemble its parents, without additional mutations or changes from the ancestral organism. Cayutes and Greater Rats are modern examples of breeds. While Pure Humans and Baseliners are technically breeds, calling them that can get you killed in a lot of places. The opposite of a breed is a sport.
